Best Office Robots for Small Businesses in 2026

Updated

Our verdict

Most small offices should start with a $4,499 Double 3 for remote staff or a $1,495 Matic for a studio-sized floor. Buy a commercial scrubber (Pudu CC1, Keenon C40, Avidbots Kas or Tennant T380AMR) only if you clean more than a few thousand square feet of hard floor every night and can get a written quote that includes service.

Which telepresence robot should a small office buy?

Double 3. It's the one office telepresence robot we found with a public US price: $4,499 for the Standard Set with a 1-year warranty and a 30-day guarantee, or $5,098 with the 3-year DoubleCare plan. Double says there are no recurring fees.

Per Double's spec sheet, it has two 13 MP pan/tilt/zoom cameras, six beamforming mics, a 9.7-inch display, a height range of 47 to 60 inches, two Intel RealSense depth sensors plus five ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance, and about 4 hours of runtime on a 2-hour charge.

The complaints are about the network and support, not the hardware. Older reviews, including Macworld's, flagged video cutouts in Wi-Fi dead spots. An r/sysadmin post described a unit whose audio and video never connected and a support path that went nowhere. Map your Wi-Fi before you buy.

Ohmni, the other name you'll see, stopped selling its office robot in August 2024 and now sells only a healthcare version, so we left it out.

What's the best cleaning robot for a small office?

Matic, for suites up to a few thousand square feet. It's a home robot from Matic Robots, a US company, at $1,495 with a 6-month risk-free trial and a 1-year warranty, per maticrobots.com. It vacuums and mops with camera-based vision, processes maps on the device, and in October 2026 received an FCC Conditional Approval (DA 26-1063), so new units can keep coming under the robot rule.

Owners on r/MaticRobots praise its object detection, app and single-bag design. The same thread reports streaky mopping with tire tracks, brush chatter on grained wood and 10-to-30-second pauses while it plans. For an office, that means good nightly upkeep, not a janitorial replacement.

Which commercial floor scrubber robot is best for offices?

Pudu CC1 for mixed office floors, Keenon C40 if you need long shifts, Avidbots Kas for tight spaces and Tennant T380AMR for big buildings. All four are quote-only through dealers.

  • Pudu CC1. A 4-in-1 machine (sweep, scrub, vacuum, dust mop) that Pudu rates at 17,000 Pa suction and 700 to 1,000 m² (about 7,500 to 10,800 sq ft) per hour, with 15 L clean and waste tanks and up to 5 hours of scrubbing. It weighs 75 kg and needs a 70 cm path. Pudu's own documentation lists office buildings as a target. The dealer review site CommercialRobotVacuums.com praises the optional water station, quiet running and quick part swaps, and flags the small tanks and a rear blind spot on tight turns.
  • Keenon KLEENBOT C40. Keenon lists up to 5 hours of scrubbing or 12 hours of sweeping, a 5-second battery swap, up to 1,100 m² per hour and 23,500 Pa maximum suction. It needs a 65 cm passage and weighs 70 kg. One reseller profile says the setup it reviewed had no automatic water station and that the model has little track record, while Keenon's page advertises auto water supply and drainage. Ask the dealer which dock is included in the quote.
  • Avidbots Kas. Launched in 2024 as Avidbots' compact scrubber. Avidbots lists a 21.7-inch cleaning path, an 11.9-gallon solution tank, up to 3 hours per battery with swappable LFP packs, and a practical rate of 500 to 1,000 m² per hour. We found few public owner reports, so ask for references.
  • Tennant T380AMR. A 20-inch ride-on scrubber that also drives itself with BrainOS from Brain Corp. Tennant lists 20-gallon solution and recovery tanks and up to 5 hours on lithium batteries. It weighs 850 lb and needs about a 42-inch aisle. Tennant says robotic mode needs a Brain Corp subscription and cell signal, and that its cameras can capture people, so post signage. Tennant's case studies (schools, retail) report hours saved per day, but those are company-published.

Is there a delivery robot for offices?

Keenon's DINERBOT T8 is the smallest one we'd consider. Keenon lists a 20 kg (44 lb) total load, up to 15 hours per charge, 1.0 m/s top speed and a 55 cm (21.7 in) minimum passage. It's built for restaurants, so it fits mailrooms, cafés and labs that move trays more than it fits a typical cube farm. Quote only.

Are Chinese office robots affected by the FCC robot rule?

Yes, for new models, not for ones already authorized. The FCC's July 2026 order (DA 26-786) added foreign-produced robotic devices to the Covered List. Models with FCC authorization before the rule can still be sold, updated and repaired. Pudu and Keenon are Chinese companies, so ask the dealer for the FCC ID of the exact model and confirm the grant date on the FCC site before you sign a multi-year lease.

Should you buy or lease an office robot?

Lease a commercial scrubber, buy a telepresence or small cleaning robot. Scrubbers carry batteries, brushes, squeegees and software that wear out or change, and a lease or service contract puts repairs on the dealer. Get the monthly fee, term, included service visits and end-of-term terms in writing. Double 3 and Matic are cheap enough to buy outright, and both offer a trial window.

FAQ

How much does an office cleaning robot cost? Commercial scrubbers from Pudu, Keenon, Avidbots and Tennant are quote-only. Matic is $1,495 on maticrobots.com as of October 29, 2026.

Can I lease an office robot instead of buying it? Usually, for scrubbers and delivery robots. Get the monthly cost, term and end-of-term terms in writing. Double 3 is sold outright.

Do Chinese office robots still work under the FCC robot rule? Models authorized before July 2026 can still be sold and repaired. Ask for the FCC ID and check it.

Does a robot floor scrubber need a subscription? Often. Tennant says the T380AMR's robotic mode needs a Brain Corp subscription.

Is a telepresence robot worth it for a small office? It is if remote staff need to move around the office. Check Wi-Fi coverage first.
