Short answer: Beatbot makes premium cordless pool robots and backs most of them with 36 months of coverage, battery included. Buy the AquaSense 2 at $799 for most pools. Step up to the AquaSense 2 Ultra at $2,299 for built-in surface skimming. Prices are from beatbot.com, seen Oct 29, 2026.

Which Beatbot pool robot should I buy?

The AquaSense 2. At $799 it carries the same 36-month warranty as robots that cost three to five times as much. The AquaSense 2 Ultra adds surface skimming and costs $2,299. The AquaSense X at $3,799 is Beatbot's top model and only makes sense if budget is no object. The Sora line is Beatbot's lower-priced range; note the Sora 30 and Sora 10 get 24 months, while the Sora 70 gets 36.

What does the Beatbot warranty cover?

Beatbot's warranty policy covers the "Main Body (including drive box (battery/PCB/motor/sensor etc.), plastic parts, and power supply)". That battery line matters: on a cordless robot the battery is the part most likely to fade.

The limits:

  • It "exclusively applies to Beatbot products you purchased directly from Beatbot or its authorized dealers for personal use". Unauthorized resellers and commercial use are excluded, so a pool service running one on client pools isn't covered.
  • "Warranty service is only available in the Beatbot service area where the product was purchased by you." Buy a US unit for a US pool.

What problems do Beatbot owners report?

Owner reports in Beatbot's own subreddit point to four issues:

  • Floating instead of cleaning on sloped pools. An AquaSense 2 Ultra owner with "an irregular pool with sloping sides" said it "has never finished a cleaning job yet. Always ends up basically treading water" (r/Beatbot_Tech).
  • Stuck on a raised drain. An AquaSense 2 Pro owner said it "consistently gets stuck when it runs over the bottom drain" with both rollers spinning (r/Beatbot_Tech).
  • Hazy sensor windows. After two summers in a salt pool, one AquaSense 2 Ultra owner found the sensor covers "noticeably cloudy, yellowed, and opaque" (r/Beatbot_Tech).
  • Small basket, no done alert. An AquaSense 2 owner was happy overall but noted the smaller filter basket and asked for a push notification when the cycle ends (r/Beatbot_Tech).

Is a Beatbot good for a Florida pool?

For a screened lanai pool with sand, pollen and bugs, the AquaSense 2 is a strong fit. For an open pool under oaks, pair a floor robot with the iSkim, which works the surface while leaves and tassels are still floating. That sensor-haze report came from a salt pool after two summers, so check the sensor windows each spring; Florida's sun and salt systems are hard on clear plastic. Weigh the cost against a weekly service with our robot vs pool service calculator.

Can I buy Beatbot robots in the US?

Yes. Beatbot sells direct on beatbot.com, and the warranty is tied to the service area where you bought it.

US availability side note: models the FCC authorized before its July 2026 robot rule can still be sold here. Read the FCC robot rule explained or use the US availability check.

Is Beatbot a good pool robot brand?

Our verdict: yes, and the warranty is the reason. Thirty-six months with the battery covered beats Aiper on most models and beats the 1-year terms on many Dolphin store models. Buy the AquaSense 2 for most pools. Skip the flagships if your pool has steep sloped sides until Beatbot answers the floating reports. See Aiper vs Beatbot and how long pool robots last.

Compare it with other brands in the pool robot compare tool, match a model to your pool with the pool robot finder, or see our best robotic pool cleaners.
